You Are My Tuxedo, and I'm Your Bow-tie

These nails were made for Nailed It's 3D nail art contest, and inspired by Cher Lloyd's song Oath.

This song always reminds me of my best friend (or bist fed as we call each other) Laura. I've known her since 7th grade so thaaat's five years now! She's been with me through my wild endeavors and I've made it through (most) of her crazy ideas unscathed. I dunno if it's common practice to dedicate nail art to somebody, but these were definitely done with her in mind!

 I used:
Pure Ice Magic Base Coat
Stripe Rite Neon Pink
Clair's White and Black Nail Art Pens
Born Pretty Rhinepebbles
Clair's Rhinepebbles
Maybelline Onyx Rush

Pretty Please with Chanel on Top?

Hey guys! First I have a story to share with you, I rode the public bus all by myself for the first time (!). It was kinda scary but it was a double decker so that was really cool, though not as cool as the Knight Bus. Anyways, I'm super excited about a contest that I have entered, Rite Aide's Nail Extravaganza. The rules are simple, enter your most creative nail art look and ask your friends for votes. The top 20 finalists then have a shot at the grand prize. So here's my entry:

 THE CLAAAW

I really love this look! It made me smile whenever I looked down on my nails today. I always love when a manicure can do that :)

I used:
Chanel Taboo
Essie Tart Deco
Revlon Red
NYC Lexington Yellow
Clair's White Nail Art Pen
Born Pretty Rhinepebbles

So here's the pretty pretty please, I would really appreciate it if you guys would vote for me! You can vote here every day until the 24th. Go go go! :D

Kelsie's Nail Files Contest Entry

I'm so excited for this, this is my first nail art contest ever! ^-^ Kelsie at Kelsie's Nail Files is having a contest for her one year blogiversary, and the challenge is to create a look based on something from her Pintrest board. Here's the inspiration I chose:

And here's the nail art:

I REALLY love those shorts. I think I will need to make them this summer. For the jean part of the nails I used a tutorial from Glamour.
I used:
Revlon First Class
Stripe Rite Green, Yellow, and Pink
Clair's Black and White Nail Art Pen
NYC Spring Street
Sally Hansen Brisk Blue

Ironically I have a purse that matches too, now I just really need those shorts!
